Life Lately

Last Friday was national tequila so naturally we had to celebrate at work with margaritas!

Crystal and I with our margs!

Ben has been working like crazy but we finally snuck in a date night at our favorite restaurant on Sunday night. It was nice to spend some time together!
Not sure where we're looking!
We...or I cut Bens hair but there was a minor mishap (see picture below). Thankfully we have a friend who is a barber who was able to fix him right up!

Girls brunch last Sunday with bottomless mimosas!

Probably the most exciting part of life lately, is my cousins engagement! Last Friday Mike proposed, and she said yes! Even though Ben and I moved shortly after they started dating, we were able to spend some time with them early on in their relationship. We love them as a couple and are so happy for this next chapter in their lives! Check out her amazing ring :)

My co-workers and I started going to Orange Theory classes this week, and we're all obsessed! It's such a crazy intense work out. We all burned at least 500 calories in an hour...the guys burned 900!! Can't wait to see our progress!

Lake Arrowhead

This past weekend was nuts...the day after Crystals surprise Birthday party my entire office headed out to Lake Arrowhead to see one of our co-workers get married. We rented an awesome AirBnB and had a blast all weekend.

I have to say that leaving a well known company like Revlon to work at a start up was a little (okay a lot) risky, but accepting the position at PD was one of the best decisions I've ever made.  Due to the fact that we're a start up, I'm able to do so many different things that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to do in a corporate environment.  Whether I'm running payroll, searching for the next big influencer, updating our social media, paying the bills, or helping out with customer service- every single day has been such a learning experience! In the past 8 months, I've watched PD grow quite a bit, and during that time...we've hired a lot of really cool people. These awesome co-workers have turned into great friends. I'm so glad I get to work with them everyday! Enough words, onto the pictures!

July is a busy birthday month for us!! A lot of our friends and family have birthdays in July so we have been celebrating quite a bit this past month. Our friend Crystal turned 31 today (happy birthday crystal!) but never was able to celebrate her 30th, so we planned her a big surprise party. It was fun planning and even more fun when she realized we weren't really having a mac and cheese off and the entire party was to celebrate her!

Trying to transport these balloons in rush hour traffic wasn't fun or safe but we made it!

Amazing bundt cake from "Nothing Bundt Cakes" the sign says Happy "30th" Crystal!!

We decided that we had to have a pinata for the party...because what kind of friends would we be if we didn't get her one??

This past weekend we were out in CO for Maggies wedding. We had a blast out there, I'm pretty sure Ben would pick up and move there tomorrow if he could!
