Mini Vacas!

These past few weekends have been busy with lots of fun traveling. Doing Vegas and Mexico back to back is not for the faint of heart! As much as I love traveling, it was really nice to wake up in my own bed this past weekend.

And Mexico.....

Pretty soon I'll have a full house with whole fam damily here for almost 3 weeks! Looking forward to going to Disneyland for the first time!!

Life Lately

Amandas first outing with the babe all by herself! Liam is always welcome on our happy hour dates!

Amanda headed home with Liam, so Sarah and I headed to try another bar in Bankers Hill. We had the best cocktails and geeked out about living in San Diego. Sometimes I still pinch myself.

My new favorite drink apparently has a really fancy name....Vodka East Side Ricky- who knew!?

I added some fun color into my hair, excuse the selfies but see the green and purple? So fun.

Potato Chip Rock

This hike was TOUGH but so worth the photo op! The hike was really steep and took us a few hours. I was super sore the next day, but a good sore!! Definitely looking forward to doing more hikes, hopefully on a day when the sun is out!

It was amazing to have Caiti & Mike in town this past weekend! We line danced, went to Shout House to see dueling pianos, checked out Coronado, visited the Birch Aquarium, did some wine tasting and celebrated Cinco de Mayo!

 Yesterday we celebrated Bry's 26th birthday! We went to the pool and out to dinner at Crazee burger. We'll be celebrating his birthday and Mother's Day again in a couple days when my Mom gets into town on Wednesday!

Weekending

This weekend was the 2nd weekend (out of 6 in a row) of having guests in town! Sarah F and Carl were in town form NYC. Sarah and I met several years ago while working at Sargos at Saratoga National and have kept in touch since! 

On Saturday Bryan, Sarah H and I went to Adams Avenue Unplugged Beer Tasting. We walked all along Adams Ave and tried 12 different beers. Each beer tasting was hosted at a local business, not a bar so it was neat to go inside stores we normally wouldn't have gone into.

Sarah and Carl got into town later on that afternoon and met us at Polite Provisions. PP is known for their craft cocktails on draft. We hung out there for awhile before heading over to Sarah H's hot tub and pool for the night.  I had to work on Sunday but was able to spend the evening with Sarah and Carl. We bounced around from bar to bar and caught up! Bryan even tried Thai food!
