Temecula

This months ride with Star group took us to Temecula, it was such a beautiful ride (I know I say that every time- but really it is!!)  We started off the morning by finally being voted into the motorcycle club, and we got our rockers.

Badass motorcycle group- just kidding everyone is really nice!
Since we were in Temecula for the ride we decided to stop at one of the wineries. Our friends met us up there for the tasting, and we had a nice dinner in Old Town Temecula. It's such a cute little town with lots of restaurants, and live music.

Somehow we always end up with a picture like this!
Sunday the boys played softball and the girls went out for brunch and bottomless mimosas. The waiters/waitresses don't let you finish your glass before they're filling it back up.

After brunch we headed to the pool and layed out for the rest of the afternoon! Pretty good weekend if you ask me!

It's February!!

We had such a great weekend! Friday night we finally used some gift cards at our favorite restaurant Cucina Urbana.

Saturday morning we got up and headed to the shipyard. Man- I was SO excited about this! Generally the yard isn't open to the public but there was a christening for the ship pictured below, and the ceremony was open to the general public.  It's exciting to think in a little under 5 months we'll be there celebrating the christening of Bens ship!

While on the shipyard we took full advantage and snuck into Bens office building so I could see where he spends his days :)

His office is on an old barge- how cool is that? Talk about prime real estate- he has ocean views!

Saturday night we grabbed burritos (I think I've finally found the best California burrito!), and then went out to see an awesome band in Mission Beach. They played for 3 hours- everything from Chicago, to Justin Timberlake to The Violent Femmes.

Today was one of those days where I felt like I needed to be pinched! The weather was amazing, (lovely sunburn to prove it) I kept saying to people- do you realize its February!? We hosted a corn hole tournament in Balboa Park...everyone brought lunch/beers, and we just hung out all afternoon.

We've been meeting lots of new couples through Meetup groups so it was nice that our old friends got to meet our new friends. We were only expecting a few couples but everyone brought friends and before we knew it there were 18 people!

Towards the end of the afternoon I saw a guy with a basket of puppies (he was selling them), seriously some of the cutest puppies EVER! It took a lot for me not to buy all of them and take them home with me! Benny didn't share the same sentiment :)

And that's a wrap! Happy Monday!
