A Little Bit of Everything

*Get ready for some serious picture overload!!*

Ben and I were hanging out (while Bryan was... guess what-sleeping!) on Saturday afternoon and we had just met our neighbors in our apartment complex for the first time. They had mentioned a great place for happy hour with some awesome views, but cautioned us as men had to be dressed a certain way in order to get in. He said there wasn't a dress code for women. We made sure Ben was dressed appropriately and walked over to Mister A's for some drinks. As we walk in we were immediately told I wasn't dressed appropriately. I was fine with going home and hanging out but Ben really wanted to get all gussied up just to make a point! So that's what we did!

We walked back to the restaurant all fancied up, sat down, ordered our drinks and not five minutes later our new neighbors walked in.. I felt a little silly being dressed so fancy but we explained why we looked the way we did, and it made for a good story. We ended up hanging out with them and their friends all night, it was a great time! So glad we went back :)

Later on that night we all got changed and headed to a little bar in Hillcrest for some dinner and beer pong for the boys.

The next day was Cinqo de Mayo! Bryan and I took the Old Town Trolley Tour around San Diego. It was a great tour and we learned lots of fun facts about our new city!

After Ben got off work we headed to Old Town for a quick drink, some food and an ice cream :)

Jeeze this post makes it look like a lot of drinking was done, but I promise it was all in moderation!! Bryan and I went to the Stone Brewery the following day. It was Bryans first time taking a brewery tour..he's into his beer so I think he had a good time!

All of the boxes are empty bottles waiting to be filled!

The last touristy thing we did before Bryan went home was a boat tour of San Diego Harbor. We were able to see the city from a whole new perspective and even got a good look at the NASSCO dry dock!

Seals!

That night we went out for dessert with Stacy and her sister at a place called Extraordinary Desserts. We weren't all that thrilled with the dessert, but the presentation was nice and the company was even better!

Some birthday celebrations for Bry!

We went out to dinner at First Avenue Bar & Grill and then went to Chocolat for dessert. It was quite yummy!

Happy Birthday Bry! We're so happy you could come visit us, and celebrate your 24th in sunny San Diego!!
